The week that was 19th January 14 – TIME

Well, we are on our way as far as 2014 goes.

Getting back into the action after the holiday season seems to take longer and longer. I really enjoyed doing nothing over the holiday period, so it is hard to get into the rhythm of doing something. However my goals are set for the year ahead, year planner is up and events are already booked in, my classes have started and so on.

I am now looking at this and thinking that “my life consists of bookings, events and classes……..is there room of ME???”

So this year I added TIME OUT space, all be it planned, but it is time when I am not on the internet or working, but chatting to people over coffee, going to talks and seminars for my own growth, being with my partner and enjoying that long lunches we are very lucky to have almost on a daily basis etc

We can let TIME slip by so quickly, already I am hearing “it’s half way through January already!!!’  Do we wish time away? does it speed up as many people say and think it does? Where does all our time go? Do we allow people to steal our time, or do we allow people to steal our time? Do we waste time?

I have decided to TAKE TIME BACK this year, I am going to make room for myself and nurture my needs. This will be a first for me but a necessary new skill for my future. I will have to work on the mind chatter and stop the “I could be doing the house work”.

I have already made time for Coffee dates, Acupuncture treatments, beauty treatments, seminars and finding the right time to engage in family chat time.

When it come to time we “Never have enough time” but this year I am going to adopt the following phrases to help me have MORE TIME for me.

Some phrases to adopt or look at in your daily live to help you find time

  • TAKE BACK TIME
  • PLENTY OF TIME
  • CHILL OUT TIME
  • TIME OUT
  • NO NEED TO RUSH
  • TIME TO TAKE IT EASY
  • MY TIME
  • TIME TO LET GO
  • FREE TIME
  • NO
  • FIND THE TIME

I for one, am looking forward to ALL this extra Time I am going to find in my day, week, month and year. Lets make 2014 last instead of rushing towards another Christmas holiday.

You are in control of your TIME, use it wisely!!
